Job Description
:We are seeking an experienced journalist to develop and deliver stories about Singapore for the online platform of CNAResponsibilities :
- Report on Singapore news events, delivering articles ranging from straightforward coverage to in-depth analytical features.
- Deliver a steady stream of stories, including long-form features, exclusives and interviews.
- Seek and analyse news leads and tips.
- A Degree in Mass Communication, Arts and Social Sciences or related areas.
- Be a motivated self-starter.
- At least 3 years of journalism experience, preferably for an online news platform
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- A proven track record of delivering articles which showcase strong journalism skills, such as exclusives, in-depth analyses or brilliantly written features.
- An outstanding grasp of current issues and news both locally and globally.
- An extensive network of contacts.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
- Be prepared to work irregular hours and weekends.
- Experience of court reporting would be an advantage
