The central learning institution for the Singapore Public Service and a pivotal role in partnering government ministries and agencies to develop people for a first class public service. It brings together public service officers from diverse backgrounds and provides them opportunities to plug into a service-wide network to exchange views, build shared ethos and perspectives, creating a rich environment for dialogue, knowledge sharing and learning. Through their programmes and services, the organisation aims to build commitment and strategic capacity in governance, leadership, public administration and management for the Singapore Public Service. Overview: Within the organisation, the Institute comprises a team of researchers, learning and development specialists, and programme managers who support the building of public sector capabilities in domains such as governance, policy, international relations, public communications and engagement, and policy tools such as behavioural insights. Our offerings include a suite of physical and digital content, articles in publications such as ETHOS, practitioner-oriented case studies and materials, and milestone programmes. You will be part of a team at the Institute that supports the learning needs of policy teams in socio-economic agencies and other public service officers who develop or implement socio-economics policies. You must have an interest in current affairs and public policy issues, to support content development and design of learning interventions Job Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 To enable public service officers to learn, unlearn and relearn, so as to support them in responding to the demands facing them. \xc2\xb7 Work alongside colleagues to deliver physical and digital, and synchronous and asynchronous learning interventions; and manage the end-to-end process from stakeholder/client engagement, design and implementation, marketing, and evaluation for continuous improvement, including: \xc2\xb7 Partner external stakeholders from socio-economic agencies to assess the learning needs of learners \xc2\xb7 Apply L&D expertise to identify appropriate training interventions to meet identified learning outcomes \xc2\xb7 Drive the delivery of training materials and interventions, such as virtual learning, face to face programmes and other learning modalities \xc2\xb7 Measure learning effectiveness of our learning products and training interventions to meet training gaps \xc2\xb7 Engage with renowned international and local experts from academia and the public service through organising seminars and webinars Job Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Minimum Degree in any relevant discipline. \xc2\xb7 Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar learning and development capacity. \xc2\xb7 Experience in socio-economic agencies or involvement in socio-economic policies is an advantage \xc2\xb7 Intellectual curiosity, a sense of imagination and creativity \xc2\xb7 Adaptable and flexible, with an ability to respond to a dynamic and changing environment \xc2\xb7 Proven ability to work independently, as well as in a team and within organisation to drive projects from conceptualisation to delivery \xc2\xb7 Inter-personal skills to engage and collaborate with external partners and learners If this role sounds interesting to you, please share your updated CV in word format asap stating your current, expected salary and availability to take it forward.
