Understand and adhere to quality management system and policies and procedures of the company.
Research and develop new and improve existing products.
Think, evaluate, validate, alternative or substitute material, packaging and process.
Design, conduct laboratory scale and production test runs.
Provide cost savings support by evaluating alternative ingredients and packaging as well as the process and formula optimization.
Establish product parameters and processing procedures for the new or improved product.
Set specifications and shelf life of the product.
Conduct shelf life verification studies to the new and improved product, process and packaging.
Interact with production, engineering, purchasing, laboratory, quality assurance , and supplier to ensure that processes, materials, and packaging to be used for the product are compatible.
Review and analyze results including its effects and provide logical solutions or recommendations.
Participate in in-plant and restaurant product cuttings.
Recommend logical solutions to non-conforming product and processes.
Develop and support the HACCP team in the development of HACCP plan.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Identify, request, handle, and preserve R & D equipments and supplies.
Control confidential records including its preservation.
Conduct sensory evaluation to the product being developed.
Present new idea, concept, new or improved product to the management for approval.
Identify priorities, organize and achieve targets within given time.
Monitors inventory of target of sample received from APLAB.
Evaluate and control samples sent to APLAB
Qualifications:
Graduate of B.S Food Technology, Chemistry, and other related courses.
Computer literate
With good written and oral communication skills
Diligent and hardworking
Willing to work in Metro Manila or nearby Marikina area
