What you will be working on:

• Lead and manage day work teams and shift teams to operate integrated liquids and solids treatment and processes; so that plant effluent quality is good for feedwater to NEWater Factories, and effluent to coastal outfall are within specifications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Foster a culture of operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement within the teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive performance and accountability. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure the availability of duty and standby process equipment at all times, including auxiliary processes, to support uninterrupted plant operations and minimize downtime. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proactively seek out process improvements and optimization opportunities to address the increasing workload and aging equipment, driving efficiency gains and enhancing the overall performance of the treatment processes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and promote a strong safety culture within the day work and shift teams, emphasizing the importance of working safely and encouraging the generation of ideas to improve safety practices. \xe2\x80\xa2 Review and enhance Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that teams can effectively respond to emergencies and abnormalities, fostering a proactive and prepared approach to operational challenges. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate sludge disposal across all Water Reclamation Plants, Sludge Incinerations Plants and Sludge Transport Contractor, to ensure sufficient sludge clearance from WRPs and that operations will not be affected by sludge build-up. To also manage and ensure sufficient sludge transport and sludge incineration capacity.

What we are looking for:
