Position Description: Senior/Principal Engineer, System Engineering Technical Project Lead
Job description
Electrification and autonomous mobility are megatrends that shift the industry towards a greener and more sustainable future. The outcome - a new generation of vehicle EE architecture is being defined with both High Performance Computer (HPC) and Zone Control Units (ZCU). ZCUs are in physical zones in the vicinity of sensors and actuators, act as a communication gateway, provide smart power distribution and ensure the reliable execution of vehicle functions. We welcome interested candidates to apply to work on the Zone Control Units.
Responsibilities

• Be part of the international development team to define system requirements of Automotive Architecture and Networking (AN) products for our OEM customers.
• Set up and deliver to the Project Manager / Technical Project Lead on R&D estimation and schedule of all System Engineering (SE) activities, in reconciliation with the overall project schedule and the activities in the other discipline areas.
• Ensure the proper communication to the system engineering project team and to all stakeholders, customer and project management.
• Drive the Customer Requirements documents for completeness and make them available in Requirements Management Tool.
• Coordinate the management of requirements together with R&D discipline and ensure a complete and released set of requirements.
• Ensure and monitor that all Systems Engineering work products have been reviewed, approved and baselines.
• Monitor, track and maintain the Systems Engineering activities and report the project status according to milestones, by using the standard reporting tool.
• Ensure system integrity in terms of technical aspects, time, budget and quality.
• Follow specific laws and internal regulation regarding work safety and company's policy.

Qualifications

• Master or bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering or related disciplines with minimum 5 years' experience in embedded system development.
• You are a pro-active, self-motivated, good team player and has experience to manage multicultural project team.
• Sound knowledge in requirements engineering, project management, system life cycle processes and system architecture & design.
• Experience in system analysis and Structured Problem Solving, e.g. FMEA, FTA, and Why-Why
• One or more of following Automotive domain knowledge will be added advantage
• Vehicle Architecture and Networking
• Vehicle Bus Technologies (CAN/CANFD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet)
• Experience in Agile development, ASPICE and Automotive Functional Safety will be an advantage.
• Strong in verbal and written communication, presentation, and moderation skills.
