The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.We are hiring a Product Engineer in Singapore!The Product Engineer reports through the KLA Services (KLAS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA. KLAS is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLAS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.As a Product Engineer, you will actively engage in new product introduction and sustaining process of the reticle defect inspection product line, FlashScan. The main job scope for this role is as follows:

  • Reduce program serviceability risk by acting as the Voice of Service throughout the Product Life Cycle (PLC) for new and sustaining products
  • Be the system technical expertise on assigned system, and strengthen its diagnostics capability. Be the technical expert in the system with a hands-on approach and possess system engineering mentality within KLAS and manufacturing. Able to connect specific customer application to tool subsystem metrics.
  • Influence design improvement and submit/track feature requests for diagnostics and serviceability. Collaborate and resolve technical problems during the new product life cycle.
  • Contribute to the service alert meetings and Plan of Action (POA) development for critical issues and other sustaining activities.
  • Collect and document Best Known Method (BKM) and other improvements into knowledge database.
  • Analyze Service KPI and use these metrics to explain impact to customer experience of the product.
  • Create product\'s readiness review slides and present confidently to medium/upper management.
  • Support Alpha and Beta Systems, as well as Retrofit upgrades.
  • Actively lead and support alpha & beta installs in-person by auditing procedures, updating existing documents, identifying training gaps, and solving unforeseen problems as they arise to drive continuous improvement for future installs and upgrades.
  • Represent KLA to work with customer on both serviceability and specific customer applications, and constant interfacing with marketing managers at headquarters.
  • Ability to travel domestically and overseas for about 25% of the time
  • Ability to work globally with team members and customers
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor/ Masters degree in electrical/electronics/mechanical or related engineering fields
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on and system level troubleshooting experience in semiconductor industry
  • Relevant customer Interfacing experience is preferred
  • Organized, detailed, productive, consistent, team player.
  • Strong analytic and data analysis skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of reticle market business is helpful
