Job Description
The National Heart Research Institute of Singapore (NHRIS) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic physics specialist who would like to enhance his/her career prospects in cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) research in an academic environment. You will work under the direct supervision of the NHRIS CMR Scientific Lead to lead the exciting set-up of the cardio-metabolic imaging centre, that will involve advanced techniques and methodologies such as hyperpolarised MRI. The physics specialist will also be involved in the education, training and quality improvement of the department. You will have opportunities to interact with clinicians and scientists to drive specific research and development projects. The selected candidate will be offered employment on 2-years renewable contractual terms.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree in MR physics or related disciplines
- Relevant post-doctoral experience in metabolic imaging and magnetic resonance spectroscopy
- Proficient in MR sequence programming
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
