Vision engineer is responsible to design, develop, install, qualify and industrialize new manufacturing equipment, mainly new vision systems equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, install, qualify and industrialize new manufacturing equipment, mainly new vision systems equipment
• Design and develop automated systems and full vision systems applications, including hardware and software integration, and associated equipment
• Generate specifications for new equipment or for major improvements of existing equipment
• Identify and select the vision cameras, lenses and lightings needed for vision inspection
• Perform setting up and commissioning of the equipment, including buy-off and acceptance tests
• Prepare Qualification Plans and overview industrialization phases
• Ensure projects are done in accordance with schedule, cost and quality performances
• Design and implementation of control systems, including vision systems at various manufacturing processes
• Documentation related to projects, like maintenance and calibration procedures, works instructions, operating books, product control plans
• Modify and improve current manufacturing equipment, to be able to reach the objectives in terms of health and safety, quality, reliability and productivity

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering / Mechatronics or equivalent
• Knowledge of automated systems, PLC and industrial PC systems are preferred
• Knowledge of vision algorithms and vision software
• Knowledge of camera vision, lens and lighting.
• Experience in vision application is expected
