Job Description

Travel. It\'s one of life\'s simple pleasures. But, ooof, planning it can feel like hard work. For the last 20 years we\'ve been on a mission to empower every traveller with innovative tools, insights and experiences that help people get to where they\'re going, so they can spend more time out exploring the world, and less time anxiously bouncing around 25 browser tabs and endless spreadsheets. Our traveller-first approach drives everything we do and it\'s never been more important than it is today.

When we launched as a flight comparison site back in 2003, we changed the game by helping travellers feel smart, like they were in on a secret, that promise hasn\'t changed. And today, while we\'re a world leader in travel, with millions of people using our products every single day we know there\'s so much more we can be doing.

Being part of Skyscanner means joining a team hell bent on building the world\'s most innovative, and helpful travel experiences possible. We\'re hugely ambitious and believe we have the chance to genuinely challenge and disrupt the industry.

We\'re looking for an SEO Manager to join our team and drive growth from regional and local SEO tactics across our portfolio of domains in APAC.

You\'ll work with a team of SEO, Content, and Product Managers and analysts to drive best-in-class SEO initiatives.
This role is an amazing opportunity for someone with a keen interest in SEO and willing to make a huge impact as we develop and evolve our SEO strategy to attract and engage with millions of travellers each month.

Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate organic search growth across our regional portfolio of markets.
  • Analyse data to identify areas for SEO growth and optimisation based on key trends and market opportunities.
  • Feed into the SEO experimentation backlog for APAC domains.
  • Own weekly SEO reporting for APAC priority markets (e.g. Japan, Korea, Australia & India).
  • Inform content strategy based on SEO research, performance, trends, and insights.
  • Work with other SEO team members to perform keyword research.
  • Be a subject matter expert for the company on the latest SEO developments and trends.
About You:
  • Proven SEO experience preferably with thousands of landing pages across multiple country specific websites.
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices and Google quality guidelines.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as GSC, Majestic SEO, Ahrefs, Oncrawl, and able to demonstrate actionable insights for better rankings in Google\'s search results.
  • Proven track record of driving growth from SEO activities.
  • Passionate about SEO and knowledge of the latest SEO trends, best practices, and industry developments.
  • Strong collaboration skills and eager to work cross-functionally and evangelise channel best practices.
  • Fluent in English. Multilingual skills will be a nice to have, particularly Korean and/or Japanese.
#LI-CL1

You\'ll join a brilliantly diverse group from all corners of the world. After all, travel is about finding new perspectives and experiencing new people and cultures - and Skyscanner is strongest when our teams are both inclusive and diverse. We recognise and challenge everyday biases, remove obstacles to inclusion and ensure all our people can thrive and be themselves.
