  • To help GPC deliver key projects and expertise through managing SEO, Outreach, YouTube and eCommerce activities for ranges of clients.
  • To improve the SEO offering of the wider SEO team
  • To support our Head of Search and Innovation APAC deliver larger projects;
  • Create an SEO 'unit' that can scale independently
  • Build a template for growth of SEO team long term
  • To create an SEO product offering, implement and track success measurement
  • To integrate SEO/PPC campaigns and strategies for optimal performance and budget efficiencies
What the job covers
  • Manage and lead SEO Projects from start to finish
  • Develop and execute SEO strategy across technical SEO, content (on-page), backlink strategy (off-page), etc.
  • Develop materials, templates processes and methodologies to deliver 'world class' On-Page, Off-Page, eCommerce SEO and Data Analytics
  • Technical SEO optimisation and support in implementations
  • Deliver the unique GPC methodology in support of creating multi-market content at scale;
  • Support content teams to create and optimise assets that align with the SEO strategy;
  • Build process, workflow, SOPs, documentations to monitor and report on SEO metrics and performance of the team and deliverables
Responsibilities
  • Accountability of all SEO projects, initiatives, deliverables, timelines and performance optimizationagreed on the created project plan
  • Manage, build and track project plans, quotations and scope of work including allocation of hours
  • Manage and Lead SEO Projects in APAC from start to finish, including quality check and timelines, filter deliverables from SEO Managers and Data Analyst before delivery to the Head of Search
  • Responsible in building SEO On-page and Off-Page Campaigns including implementations and link prospecting to outreach
  • Developing detailed project plan and monitor progress while delivering projects on time ensuring quality standards.
  • Make decisions about the day-to-day operation of the team members, including management of work assignments by them.
  • Carry out technical site audit and SEO tech maintenance as per agreed in the proposed SEO plan
  • Track performance and website issues on a regular basis using Analytics and other SEO Tools
  • Improve Dashboard and improve reporting insights and Data Analytics offering assigned by the Head of Search
  • Review and create reports, deliverables and build guidelines to be implemented by SEO Managers and Data Analysts including Tech SEO Webmasters
  • Audit, setup and tracking of KPI in Analytics including Google Tag Manager
  • Manage and train SEO Specialists with new processes as agreed with the Head of Search
  • Responsible in improving eCommerce KPI and growth hacking for traffic and ROI
  • Conversion rate Optimisation, Heatmap and A/B Testing
  • Provide UI/UX recommendations to improve website performance
  • Build Information Architecture to support the Taxonomy
  • Build SEO project plan roadmaps, quotations and implementation plans
  • YouTube optimisation including content platforms such as Quora, Wikipedia, etc.
  • Be updated with the latest eCommerce platform and share optimisation strategies
  • Monitor and align goals with key SEO KPIs and customer engagement KPIs
  • Diligence in conducting keyword research and competitor analysis
  • Manage, create and summarise monthly SEO reports;
  • Mastery in performance reporting using Powerpoint and Dashboard
  • Support account managers and communicate the impact of search marketing to clients
  • Support new business with proposals and market research
  • Formulate SEO data-driven content strategies for GPC clients;
  • Communicate SEO insights, user journey and expertise to clients;
  • Support all SEO activity;
  • Manage internal linking and outreach tasks to further boost the site performance
  • Manage and validate SEO Specialists and freelancer outputs to meet highest standards;
  • Maintain a close watch over the new Google guidelines and updates
  • Supporting Head of Search and Managing Director APAC on new business requirements and larger projects;
  • Liaise with project management team to improve processes and resource management.
  • Conduct training for new joiners including Accounts and Editorial Team
  • Involving in keyword selection and audience targeting
  • To log SEO timesheets regularlyand review team's timesheets versus agreed project hours
  • Integrate SEO and PPC strategies for budget efficiencies and to boost performance
Reporting and Communication Structure
  • This role reports to Head of Search APAC
  • This role will at times manage the time and outputs of freelancers
  • Time and resource management conducted in coordination with the account management team
  • This role attends the SEO team meetings and project and client meetings as requested.
