We are looking for a motivated

System / Server Engineer

to join our growing IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting servers, operating systems, and IT infrastructure to ensure stable and secure operations. This is a great opportunity for candidates with

at least 1 year of experience

who are eager to grow their skills in system administration and enterprise IT environments.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers. Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for incidents. Support IT infrastructure, including virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and storage management. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights (Active Directory, Group Policy). Apply system patches, updates, and security hardening. Assist with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. Collaborate with IT teams to support projects and infrastructure upgrades. Maintain accurate system documentation and asset inventory.

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Minimum

1 year of hands-on experience

in system/server administration. Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments (RHEL, Red Hat, Ubuntu, etc.). Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V). Basic understanding of networking and security concepts. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Relevant certifications such as

RHEL, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or Linux certifications

Requirements

Experience in Windows server OS, Unix/Linux OS & VM environment Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server would be an advantage Good Working knowledge with VPN, firewall appliances and Cisco routers/switches Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment Pro-active, dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual thinking
