Job Description


JOB PURPOSE

  • Reports to Supervisor, Transport Unit, Service Ambassadors and Transport (SAT).
  • Provide excellent guest services to all internal and external guest in all aspects of job descriptions.
  • To provide connectivity to guests by operating Bus, Tram or any form of vehicles.
  • Provide information to guests

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Work Ethics
  • Be punctual and responsible at all times.
  • Adhere to protocol for taking Medical Certificate (MC).
  • Responsible for driving good work ethics, discipline and cultivating good working attitudes.
  • To ensure compliance of grooming standards and code of conduct.
  • To practice good housekeeping.
  • To work closely with team members and other colleagues.

Best Practices
  • Keep updated and ensure that all are up to date on the current promotions, events, happenings in Sentosa and adhere to performance standards.
  • Response to urgent and crucial incidents and issues at all time.

General
  • Be customer-centric and provide outstanding guest experience to Sentosa guests;
  • Be proactive and render assistance to guests;
  • Render 1st aid when necessary.

Collaboration with other Units/Departments/Island Partners
  • Work closely with other units on crowd management during peak hours during weekdays and weekends;
  • Collaborate with various operation units in managing situation within the island.

Compliance
  • Ensure good housekeeping at all area. Defects found to be reported to supervisor immediately.
  • Abide by SOP & guidelines.
  • Ensure all Mandatory safety guidelines are adhered to (WSH, WAH, and other MOM guidelines).
  • Practice good guest relation whenever possible via guest engagements and other initiatives by the team.
  • Take note and report all occurrences and findings during duty hours in area of responsibility to be recorded in the daily report.
  • Report any unusual occurrences to the superior immediately.
  • Attend daily briefings conducted by the Shift Supervisor.

Service Operations
  • Drawing of vehicle key which assigned by the supervisor.
  • To perform morning routine checks (First Parade Task) against checklist on fleet which assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Ensure the service vehicle is top up with Diesel/Petrol at the required level.
  • Report any faults on the vehicle to the supervisor.
  • Must follow all traffic rules and regulation when operating any vehicles and ensure safety of all road users.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of the vehicles assigned by the supervisor for the day\xe2\x80\x99s operations.
  • Responsible for the safety of all passengers in his / her vehicle during driving duties.
  • Escalate any feedback received from guest for improvements to the supervisor.
  • Ensure the vehicle assigned must be presentable at all times.
  • Vehicles must be properly parked and keys accounted for at the end of the work period.
  • Drive any ad-hoc trips as assigned by the supervisor.
  • To perform queue management duties at Bus and Tram stops as necessary and assist in car park diversion if assigned by the supervisor.
  • Any other tasks, as per assigned.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATION
  • 2 years experience in related industry
  • Must Possess Class 4 driving Licence and Bus Vocational licence
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-centric. Comfortable in frontline duties.
  • Able to work on Weekends, Public Holidays, rotating shifts and overnight duties.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
  • Fluent in English and another language is advantageous
  • Candidate should ideally possess at least a GCE \xe2\x80\x9cN\xe2\x80\x9d level qualification or equivalent
