Service Engineer (Electrical)

Working Location: 7 Jurong Pier Road, Singapore ( 619159 ) - Boon Lay

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:15pm

Basic salary: SGD 3,700 to SGD 4,500, 13month, SGD 250 transport allowance, Overtime

Basic Functions

• Investigate and handle all customers\' complaints related to product failures.
• Providing after-sales technical support and site service responsibilities to distributors/end customers.
• Review and assist in processing warranty claims from distributors.
• Standby support and 24/7 emergency call for customer support.

Specific Responsibilities * Provide the installation, commissioning and on-site training to support the customers according to the scope of the project

• Provides after sales technical support, troubleshooting, site service and maintenance visit to customers in a timely manner to ensure that the product is operational
• Generate a service report to customer in a systematic manner
• Handles wide range of diesel generator sets (small to large capacity) to provide support to departments in terms of service and training
• Develop service training material, ensures all technical and training documents are up-to-date and organized
• Provides specific training to distributors and dealers for service and troubleshooting skillsets, ensuring optimum service level at all distributors
• Maintain close working relationship with our key customers to ensure the follow through until the issue is resolved
• Provides technical assistance on factory test of special projects
• Investigates root causes of failures and recommend solution
• To deal with customer on the warranty issues from technical aspect
• Performs any other service and training duties as and when assigned

Qualifications / Requirements * Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience

• This position requires fair amount of traveling in the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia Region
• Possess strong customer service orientation, enthusiasm for power generation products, electrical and control system

Prior electrical and control experience with various control system (Comap, Deepsea, DEIF, Woodward, Volvo ECU, John Deere ECU) and synchronization system will be advantageous
