Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and form a term of service mechanics and technicians to perform effective and efficient service and normal maintenance work.
• Provide after sales service to existing and new customers

Technical Aspect

• Technically strong on the repair and servicing of china brand heavy equipment.
• Hands on with the routine maintenance procedure and be able to guide/train junior mechanics and technicians into doing the repair and maintenance job well.
• He might be needed for rescue mission if the mechanic / technician encounters difficult repairs.
• Pre-work trouble shooting might be required to guide the team into performing the correct repair/service.
• Provide training and coaching as and when necessary to his team to ensure they could do their job well.

Control Aspect

• Exercise overall control over his team and the jobs to be done.
• Follow up and ensure important jobs are done and communicated to the relevant parties, including the sales/rental team.
• Provide feedback on the quality of work done and work with the Director and HR to form a performance based team filled with suitable works. He is authorised to chases his team members if they can’t meet his standard.
• Ensure that his team follows and performs all PDI and work procedures

Domentations/ Reports

• Review the quotations sent to customers to ensure the prices are ok and then the works are performed timely.
• Review the scheduling and transportation plan to ensure our workers are deployed to the correct site to reduce inter-job transport time.
• Review the invoices and efficiency of workers in preforming their repair works.
• Review the job card and time sheet to ensure all jobs are recorded and billed accordingly.

Management

• Oversee the spare parts department.
• Set up the fleet management control for fixed assets on rental to:

• Monitor the quantity on rental, under repair and in store
• Ensure damages done by customers are recorded before acceptance of equipment and billed

to them correctly.
Requirements

• Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Min 5 years experiences in heavy machinery industry.
• Singapore class 3 driving license
• Bilingual in english and mandarin
