Position Summary

We are seeking a

(Senior) Service Engineer

with hands-on experience in marine engine systems to join our growing team. The role involves installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of

marine engines, generators, and propulsion systems

onboard vessels. This is a field-based role that requires technical expertise, adaptability, and a strong customer service mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

installation and commissioning

of marine engines (2/4 stroke), generators, propulsion systems, and associated mechanical/electrical systems onboard vessels. Conduct

routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance

, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and overhaul of marine engines and auxiliary systems. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation to execute tasks accurately. Coordinate with ship personnel, OEMs, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare detailed service and inspection reports in line with company and customer requirements. Support remote technical troubleshooting and provide post-service customer support. Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and maritime regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Degree in

Mechanical / Marine / Electrical Engineering

or equivalent technical qualification. From 2 years of hands-on experience with

marine diesel engines, propulsion systems, and generators

is a must - including

installation, servicing, and overhaul.

MUST

be able to travel frequently to domestic and international ports, shipyards, or onboard vessels for on-site service jobs. Strong knowledge of marine systems (mechanical and/or electrical) and engine control systems. Familiarity with international maritime standards and practices. Ability to read and interpret engine manuals, electrical diagrams, and service bulletins. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
