Provide primary technical support on board vessels for installing, servicing, and repairing control systems.
Assist with mechanical works for all company portfolio products as needed within personal knowledge and expertise (secondary function).
Work with PLCs, electric drive systems, stepper drives, and other related company control systems.
Inspect wiring installations, supervise shipyard and ship crew during ongoing installations and repairs.
Perform inspections and test completed installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, workmanship standards, and contract specifications.
Attend meetings at shipyards/vessels with owners, ship crew, consultants, suppliers, technical superintendents, yard managers, to discuss pending and required work, ensuring compliance with yard safety officers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements.
Support the Service Manager/coordinator by providing technical help-desk assistance.
Assist in training junior/new engineers on the systems to help grow the team.
Monitor and meet job completion targets in accordance with company makers\xe2\x80\x99 recommendations and quality standards.
Provide clear, precise, and detailed service reports and timesheets upon project completion.
Manage personal costs and ensure the most efficient job schedule.
