Key Responsibilities
Perform servicing and repairs of deepwell and submerged pumps on LPG and LNG tankers.
Carry out maintenance and repair work on safety valves and cargo compressors for LPG and LNG vessels.
Troubleshoot issues related to pumps, safety valves, and compressors to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Conduct repair and service tasks both during voyages and while vessels are docked at shipyards.
Assignments typically last 1-3 weeks, handled by teams of 1-2 Service Engineers.
Work is performed worldwide, either onboard during sailing or in dry-dock, with an expected travel commitment of around 160 days per year.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum requirement: Higher Nitec or Diploma in Marine, Mechanical, or related engineering disciplines.
Prior experience in a similar role within the maritime industry is advantageous.
Reliable, responsible, and trusted by both colleagues and customers.
Proactive, motivated, and able to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Displays loyalty, positivity, and a professional yet approachable attitude.
Strong customer service orientation with good interpersonal skills.
Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Familiarity with LPG/LNG carriers is preferred.
Able to work independently, travel internationally on short notice, and adapt to irregular working hours.
Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
Competent in documentation and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
