Key Responsibilities:

• Review technical specifications from customers.
• Engage customers on technical qualification and identify product development and testing needs of strategic importance.
• Track and analyze the market trend in testing.
• Prepare product development and testing proposal.
• Develop test procedures, monitor test progress and write reports
• Perform FEA and evaluate structural and sealing performance of products.
• Make technical presentation
• Actively participate and involve in appropriate development of HSE matters in areas of hazard / incident identifications, risk assessments and determination of controls
• Ensure work activities and behavior achieved conformity to the HSE policy, objectives and procedures outlined in the HSE management system and compliance to applicable local legal requirements
• In addition to these duties/responsibilities employee is required to carry out all additional duties as & when directed & required.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering or other engineering field
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience such as Mechanical Design / R&D , preferably in the upstream Oil and Gas industry
• Understanding oil & gas drilling and completion is an advantage.
• Strong technical skills in mechanical or structural design and structural testing.
• Strong technical skills in Finite Element Analysis for structural and contact analysis.
• Knowledge in low alloy steels and corrosion resistant alloys and the related specifications (e.g. ASTM, API, NACE).
• Demonstrated ability to learn new skills.
• Experienced in engaging customers.
