The Lo & Behold Group\'s Front-of-House team is looking to welcome a Commis Service into its ranks. Having the necessary product knowledge and strong people acumen skills are the backbone to a strong restaurant service. Attention to detail will be crucial to ensure that our guests leave with an unforgettable experience that leaves them yearning for more.

Your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining good lines of communication between the Chef de Rang and the kitchen
• Assisting in setting up the kitchen passes - starter, main course and pastry - as instructed by chef
• Assisting the Chef de Rang and senior staff members with the preparation of the restaurant for service
• Understanding and upselling menu dishes to the customers
• Participating in the daily service operations of the restaurant and understand how the role ensures the smooth running of the restaurant
• Recording any losses through spoilage or waste and reporting such losses to the Head Waiter immediately
• Taking good care of all equipment in the restaurant
• Helping guests and staff members whenever possible and required
