Service Mechanic (heavy Equipment/up $3500)

Job Description
Job duties:
- Performing field repair and overhaul of heavy equipment on site
- Pre-order all materials/parts as required
- Ensuring all tools are well prepared and available on service vehicle
- Responsible for diagnosing problems, use testing & diagnostic equipment, disassembly/assembly, repair of the equipment, estimating repair costs and minimizing re-work
- Maintain proper job documentation; working records for time, parts, supplies and outside purchase in repairs and ensure all the records kept are eligible or in compliance with established methods
- Completes repairs within performance standards guidelines as set by the dealer: repair time, quality of repairs / amount of rework, quantity of repairs / labor efficiency and other measures
- Make sure all repair jobs completed with the cause of failures identified and match to the solutions necessary to affect a repair
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor
- ITE/Diploma in mechanical or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years experiences in repair and overhaul of heavy equipment and its components
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and technical literature
- Excellent customer orientation
- Class 3 license is a preference
