Job Description

Identify and develop new business opportunities for service products (e.g., preventive maintenance contracts, calibration services, upgrades).

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development



Identify and develop new business opportunities for service products (e.g., preventive maintenance contracts, calibration services, upgrades). Proactively engage existing customers to promote renewals, upsells, and value-added service offerings. Prepare and deliver competitive quotations and service proposals. Conduct customer visits, presentations, and negotiations to close service sales opportunities.

Account Management



Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers. Track and follow up on open quotes and ensure timely conversion to orders. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer operations and recommending solutions to improve uptime and efficiency.

Collaboration



Work closely with Field Service Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure smooth delivery of services. Partner with Sales team to bundle service offerings with equipment sales for maximum value. Provide feedback to the Service Management team regarding market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Performance & Reporting



Achieve or exceed assigned service sales targets (e.g., contract revenue, order intake). Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM system. Regularly report performance, opportunities, and challenges to management.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience



Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in service sales, technical sales, or related role (industrial equipment or life sciences preferred). Experience in managing contracts and negotiating with customers is an advantage.

Key Competencies



Strong sales and negotiation skills with a consultative approach. Technical aptitude to understand equipment functionality and service requirements. Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently. * Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
