Job Description
Your Duties and Responsibilities
You report to the Outlet Supervisor / Manager. Your job responsibilities mainly include the following:
- Report for duty on time and in the manner specified with well-groomed and clean uniform.
- Greet guests courteously with a friendly smile.
- Serving food and beverage to guests according to service procedures.
- Clearing of used crockery off the table, and prepare table setting ready for next customer(s).
- Check crockery and glassware to ensure that they are clean at all times.
- Preparation of beverages
- Order taking and recommendation of dishes
- Check off the food item recorded at the table order chit when the item is served.
- Refill all used condiments, sauces and hot water for the next shift.
- Refer to senior waiter/waitress if there are complaints or disagreement over food and/or beverage.
- Do not argue with guests or make unnecessary remarks.
- Customer’s belongings that are left behind must be handed over to the Superiors for necessary action.
- To perform other duties as assigned.
