We are looking for a talented Service Technician to join our team based in Tuas, Singapore. This is an Onsite role reporting to the Service operation Manager. This role will also require travelling within Singapore. Reporting to the Service Supervisor, this role provides support for all Cummins products, primarily in Automotive, Industrial and Power Generation and Marine applications, in a combination of workshop and field work. You will respond to engine breakdowns and provide technical analysis of failure, warranty support and troubleshooting engineering issues. Previous experience in a similar Service role, and knowledge of High-Speed Diesel engines, is essential.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Diagnoses and completes repairs to engines, generators and components at the customer\xe2\x80\x99ssite.
• Applies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts andtools.
• Performs preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on electrical/mechanical products in thefield.
• Completes required documentation, such as Service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
• Maintains Service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
• Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor
• Engages customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Maintain health, safety, quality and other company policies and procedures
• Warranty decision-making compliance to Cummins standard.
• Daily timesheet submission.
• Customer service and co-ordination work related.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Nitec or Higher Nitec in Mechanical or equivalent
• Skilled in handling troubleshooting and repair works on dieselengines.
• Basic electrical knowledge to understand wiring diagrams, in order to carry outtroubleshooting.
• Prior experience with technical service diagnostic software and tools
• Knowledge of PC & Microsoft Office application (MS Word & Excel)
• Process class 3 driving license.
• Customer oriented, enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills
• Good written & communication skills

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronic Engineering with 2 to 5 years of industry experience
• Class 3 driving license (preferred)
