We are seeking a Finance & Custody Operations, Senior Manager within the Operations team. Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the Finance and Custody Ops teams to ensure the daily Finance & Custody operations work are executed timely and accurately.
• Manage operational issues and opportunities raised by the Ops team through effective communication, good understanding of processes, robust controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure operational documentation are updated timely to reflect the current Finance & Custody processes
• Support and participate in audit (internal, external or regulatory) review processes
• Collaborate with other departments (such as Growth, Product, Legal Risk and Compliance, Engineering and QA) to drive platform or process enhancement to support corporate growth strategy
• Operationalize and execute operational processes or workflow from new business initiative or undertaking
• Execute other ad-hoc work assignment or special project relevant to related to the team
• Assist Head of Operations in designing operation strategies and explore new business models to grow the business

Requirements

• 7 or more years of experience working in fund or back-office securities custody operations within fund house, asset servicing firms or similar institutions
• Be familiar with MAS regulatory requirements and various fiat & securities settlement processes
• Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels, both externally and internally
• Experience in preparation of operations procedure document
• Perform key responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Essential Attributes - Resourceful, Driven, Meticulous, good team player and some team managerial experience
• Good working knowledge with both local and international central securities depositories
• Self-starter who exercises initiative, and willingness to take on assignment/tasks and new opportunities to broaden exposure and learning experience
