Settlement & Loans OfficerResponsibilities1) Responsible for prompt and accurate:- Processing of bilateral and syndicated loan drawdown and rollover requests- Input of Trust Receipt Financing Export Bills Discounting and subsequent follow up for repayment or rollover- Monitoring of accrual and amortization of fees income on loans and securities- Processing of Inward and Outward remittances- Opening of Current/Deposit accounts\xe2\x80\x99 operations (Back-up)- Checker for Treasury Operations \xe2\x80\x93 Back-up- Periodic updates into CIS- Payment maker, COU maker for Cash Management- to assume new role as new product lines may be added.2) Ensure that:- payments and receipts due are credited to our nostro accounts with good value. Cheques received are promptly deposited and processed.- Loan transactions must be approved by management before processing- Processed documents are scanned into Docuware and properly filed3) Ensures prompt and efficient processing of products and delivery to customers with internal control in place.4) Provides quality customer services.5) Complies with SOPS, Head Office P&P and local laws and regulations.6) Ensure Bank\xe2\x80\x99s and personal ethical standards at all times.Requirements\xc2\xb7 GCE \xe2\x80\x98O\xe2\x80\x99 level / GCE \xe2\x80\x98A\xe2\x80\x99 / or Polytechnic. Diploma in Banking & Finance will be an added advantage.\xc2\xb7 At least three to four years of working experience in a similar functional responsibility, i.e. Loan Processing /Administration (Local, Cross-Border, Bi-lateral and Syndicated), money transfers and cheque clearing. Knowledge/experienced in correspondent banking, nostro account and trade services operation is a great advantage.\xc2\xb7 MS Office applications, SWIFT and Knowledge of Kapiti-Equation.\xc2\xb7 Fast and accurate. Customer-oriented.
