An exciting Settlements Officer job has just become available at a fast-growing online securities brokerage in Singapore. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, this is an opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic professional. About the Settlements Officer Role:
In this role, you will join the settlements team that is responsible for handling trade operations such as trade processing, clearing, and settlements for equities products, and providing guidance and strategic input. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in projects aimed at systems and product enhancement and UAT. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out transaction processing (securities, derivatives, corporate actions, etc.)
- Daily reconciliation of securities positions and holdings
- Identify trade breaks and perform reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies
- Review operations processes, recommending any potential automation/digitilisation
- Participate in the strategic development and implementation of new systems, products, and services
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- At least one year of relevant experience within the banking and financial services industry
- Strong interpersonal skills, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meticulously
- Experience working as part of a team within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
