Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all systems are working properly including the 1st chamber, Aeration Chamber and Dosing Chamber, chlorinator etc.
• Apply chemicals to treat the wastewater.
• Monitor Operating conditions (chemicals dosing level, flow meter, aeration blower, dosing chamber water level).
• Assist PCO to collect the influent & effluent sample
• Record, document and report the operating condition
• Operate equipment to purify the waste water
• Clean and maintain equipment and other work areas, such as but not limited to cleaning of chlorinator hose and filter, chlorinator container, blower pump
• Check Septic Chamber if there is solid waste trapped at the screen
• Operate manually control panel to discharge effluent
• Ensure effluent is within the DENR/LLDA Standards
• Check, verify, receive and store all incoming waste from production, warehouse and other department in the MRF.
• Assist in waste segregation accordingly (Biodegradable, on-Biodegradable, Recyclables & Hazardous Waste
• Assist waste hauling
• Maintain cleanliness of MRF
• Coordinate with Janitorial Services in transferring of waste from MRF 1 to MRF 2 (warehouse

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Senior High School/ College Level
• One year or two years performing duties of an operator of STP
• Preferably with training related to Sewage Treatment Plant conducted by Accredited Training Center
• Ability to keep detailed records and reports
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to complete accurate records and make reports
