About the team

The Technology team powers everything the business does. The team is building a reliable, scalable platform for the company's products and services. The team includes Backend, Frontend, Mobile, AI, and QA engineers working across regions, alongside Platform, Security & IT Operations teams. Together, they collaborate closely with Data and Product teams to continuously evolve and scale the products.

About the role

We're seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our team. This unique role combines software development and infrastructure operations, offering extensive exposure to modern healthcare technology. You'll work with experienced engineers to develop backend services, maintain critical infrastructure, and ensure the security and reliability of our healthcare platform.

A summary of key responsibilities:

Software Development + Develop and maintain backend services using Java/Spring Boot
+ Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
+ Work with REST APIs and microservices architecture
+ Assist in developing automation scripts and tools
+ Learn healthcare data standards implementation
Infrastructure Operations + Support network infrastructure and system security
+ Assist in cloud services and virtual environment management
+ Help maintain backup and disaster recovery systems
+ Support connectivity and integration of medical services and infrastructure
+ Monitor system performance and availability
General Technical Operations + Participate in on-call rotations (after training period)
+ Troubleshoot technical issues across the stack
+ Maintain technical documentation
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams
+ Support deployment and release processes

About You

Recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Strong programming fundamentals in any language (Java preferred) Basic understanding of networking concepts Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong desire to learn and grow across multiple technical domains Good communication skills and ability to work in a team Passion for healthcare technology and innovation Self-motivated with a proactive learning attitude Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

Previous internship experience in technology Familiarity with: + Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
+ Linux systems
+ Containerization (Docker)
+ Version control systems (Git)
+ Healthcare IT systems
Experience with: + Java/Spring Boot
