Your field of responsibility Our Financial Crime Compliance ("FCC") function is responsible for advising the business on the appropriate standards for compliance with the applicable AML/CFT laws, rules and regulations, advising on higher money laun Your field of responsibility Our Financial Crime Compliance ('FCC') function is responsible for advising the business on the appropriate standards for compliance with the applicable AML/CFT laws, rules and regulations, advising on higher money laundering risk clients and transactions, providing training and the monitoring of client activities. In this role you will be part of the FCC Advisory team for the Private Banking ('PB') business in Singapore. You will report into the Head of FCC Advisory, Singapore. You will be providing support, guide and advice Level 1 reviewers on FCC/AML matters and issues in the day-to-day business activities. This includes higher risk client transactions, client due diligence and other FCC related issues. Advising the business on all AML matters to ensure policies and standards are adhered to, as well as on new products/ businesses. Working with functional partners to determine that potential risks or escalated issues are vetted and addressed. Also give advice on any money laundering risk presented by new business, new products and services, new technologies and business acquisitions. Represent FCC as needed on various run-the-bank and change-the-bank projects. Continuously updating AML policies and procedures for the bank and partnering with regional and global branches to ensure alignment in standards. Expected to have an outstanding knowledge of international issues that relate to FCC including new typologies, risk themes and be able to ascertain their relevance to Singapore. Act as the central contact point in order to identify and mitigate FCC risks. This includes ensure alignment of policies, procedures, standards and practices across these countries and provide support to engage the relevant business partners from FCC, Compliance, the Front Office and others on issues identified. Monitor regulatory development and coordinate with the relevant teams to assess the impact and ensure necessary actions are carried out to meet the regulatory requirements. Ensures timely reporting of significant control and compliance issues to management. Your skills and experience To excel in this role, you should possess: Hold a university degree or higher is essential 10-15 years' proven work experience in the financial or professional services industry, preferably in private banking industry Team management experience A positive can-do attitude, ability to deliver high quality and accurate outputs, and the ability to learn Experience in compliance and/or a professional background (legal, risk, audit, consulting) or with regulatory bodies would be a significant advantage Outstanding interpersonal, have a collaborative mind-set and able to work effectively within a team Outstanding project management skills and can work with multiple partners across front office and senior management Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point skills Results oriented, dedicated, hardworking and have the flexibility to adapt well to a dynamic working environment with high level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
