The team provides support t Your field of responsibility The SG Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) Wealth Management (WM) Advisory Team is the central point of contact for WM FCC matters in Singapore. The team provides support to the WM Chief Compliance Office to ensure the execution of the FCC Advisory mandate. The SG FCC WM Team's coverage includes all financial crimes related matters for the SG WM business. As a member of the SG FCC WM Team you shall assist in developing, monitoring and maintaining the Bank's approach in the following key program areas, . Implement and maintain oversight on compliance policies, guidelines, procedures and controls for the SG Wealth Management division . Ensure that WM FCC operations in the SG aligns consistently to global policies, procedures and industry best-practice . Provide FCC advisory guidance, risk-based solutions to the businesses' issues and initiatives. Provide guidance to the Business on following all relevant laws, regulations and firm policies in the region . Provide guidance from FCC Advisory perspective on queries, approve payments and raised by front office . Capture and risk assess new and upcoming laws, regulations, policies procedures and products affecting the countries in the region as and when they arise . Assist with enquiries from Regulators, Law Enforcement Bodies and internally from the Business . Assist with the production of financial crimes related management information at SG level . Assist in the development, coordination and implementation of the AML training and testing programs for the Bank . Collaborate with CCU, the Front Office, and other partners to drive consistency and execution of the overall financial crime compliance program The role requires interaction with: . Your skills and experience To excel in this role, you should possess: 6 or more years of proven experience in compliance and AML related subject area with a bank or a financial institution Strong understanding of the private banking industry. Knowledge of the investment banking business will be essential Outstanding understanding on AML/CFT laws and regulations and international AML standards (FATF, Wolfsberg) Excellent analytical ability to assess and synthesize information presented to identify the issue, FCC risks and propose controls and mitigants Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication in English Demonstrate phenomenal leadership skills. Ability to strategize, organise and implement regional and global directives with partners across functions and at a senior level Be a trusted advisor and build collaborations with partners across all lines of businesses and across functional groups and to provide them with precise advice while keeping the risk hat on Results oriented, proactive, possessing a sense of ownership and accountability in following through on existing issues and cases Highly motivated, intuitive and take initiatives to identify potential process-improvements Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives Your new employer Find a new home for your skills, ideas, and ambitions.
