Job Summary


As a YSL Beauty Makeup Artist, you will be a key ambassador of the brand, embodying its luxurious and edgy aesthetic. You will provide exceptional makeup artistry services, expert product knowledge, and personalized consultations to create a premium beauty experience for YSL clients. Your creativity, technical skills, and passion for beauty will contribute significantly to building brand awareness, driving sales, and fostering client loyalty.


Key Responsibilities

Exceptional Makeup Artistry:

Demonstrate advanced makeup techniques, including color matching, contouring, highlighting, and eye makeup application. Stay up-to-date on the latest makeup trends and techniques.

Client Engagement and Consultation:

Engage clients in a warm and welcoming manner, providing expert advice on YSL Beauty products and creating a luxurious and personalized experience.

Sales Performance and Product Expertise:

Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets by effectively promoting and selling YSL Beauty products.

Event and Promotional Support:

Represent YSL Beauty at various events, including store promotions, masterclasses, fashion shows, and other special occasions.

Visual Merchandising and Brand Image:

Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness at the makeup counter.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Training and Development:

Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance makeup artistry skills and product knowledge. Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations.
Qualifications:

Professional makeup artistry certification or equivalent experience. Proven experience in makeup application, preferably within a luxury retail environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse clientele. Passion for beauty and cosmetics, with a strong understanding of current trends and techniques. Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Strong alignment with the YSL brand image and values.
