• Basic from $5000 onwards + $200 Allowance + AWS + VB
• Specialty Chemical Industry, Jurong Island
• Candidates should possess at least 5 years of working experience in Manufacturing/ Operations/ Projects within Petrochemical/ Chemical Industries
• Experience and deep knowledge of SHE regulations associated with the operation of the site
• Degree in recognized technical or engineering degree
• Candidates with NEBOSH Diploma, Environmental Diploma will be an added advantage
• Experience in coordination of ISO14001, OHSA18001, COMAH, IPPC, various SHE forums, site PS9100 and ISO9001 standards is a bonus
  

Responsibilities:

• To advise on the planning, implementation, and measurement of performance of the Company Group and Company Site's SHE Policy.
• To maintain awareness of current SHE legislation applicable to the business; including Major Accident Hazards, IPPC, standards, and good SHE management practice.
• Providing training to contractors on SHE-related matters including Permits, Site Induction, Occupational Health, Emergency Response, etc.
• Performing requires compliance audits, inspections, or safety walk-downs with contractor safety coordinators and follow up including corrective actions from contractors
• Developing and reviewing procedures and SHE programs e.g., Contractor Pre-Qualification, etc.
• Ensuring that the worksite maintains good housekeeping, contractors are using appropriate personal protective equipment Assisting in arranging safety meetings, training, and maintaining a daily log of activities or tasks
• Reviewing the risk assessment and risk management of activities at the workplace by providing timely input to reduce the risk or hazards and Improving contractor recognition of at-risk behaviors
• Conducting emergency drills and training with contractor safety coordinators to raise safety awareness and ensure the correct behavior is ensured.
• Supporting line management to implement Company’s SHE programs to contractors and Working closely with Project Team to create safety and health awareness among contractors.
• Maintaining current safety & health process implementation & evaluation as per Singapore WSH standards
• Assisting the Company's SHE Manager and Project team with the implementation of safety plans, training plans, safety meetings, audits & inspections, investigations, and other contractor-related tasks in the plant.
• Identifying and assessing any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes, providing timely input in the risk analysis and providing measures to minimize/eliminate them, and Ensuring compliance to work permits (i.e., confined space, hot work, etc.)

Requirements:

• Degree in recognized technical or engineering degree
• Candidates with NEBOSH Diploma, Environmental Diploma will be an added advantage
• Candidates should possess at least 5 years of working experience in Manufacturing/ Operations/ Projects within Petrochemical/ Chemical Industries
• Computer literate (MS Office, SAP)
• Experience and deep knowledge of SHE regulations associated with the operation of the site
• Technical/Engineering and Operational experience in a production environment
• Good Communicator with good Organisational skills
• Able to operate effectively with multiple tasks in a busy environment meeting challenging deadlines
