Job Description

Job Scope:To lead, schedule and test Value Stream specific raw materials, process intermediates, final product, non-routine samples and ENVOPS in accordance to written procedures and methods.

• Ensure that all raw materials / factory samples / intermediates / final products / utilities microbiological monitoring / non-order fulfillment and NCE fulfillment activities are analyzed and tested according to the stipulated quality requirements so as to provide accurate test results for correct usage decisions.
• Ensure that all instruments are in good working order, reagents and reference standards within expiry and that documents meet regulatory standards.
• Operate the relevant computer applications that are related to the laboratory functions, such as Corporate ERP System, LIMS, Empower and other network operating systems, as required to ensure completion of Corporate ERP System transactions.
• Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping in the laboratory and ensure a safe working environment in the laboratory and perform 6S inspection.
• For senior analysts, manage, develop and motivate team members and other assigned staff to help realize their maximum potential so as to contribute towards achieving the objectives of the department.
• Perform usage decisions for raw materials in accordance with the relevant procedures.
• Monitor the quality trends and inform laboratory chemists on any abnormally observed to enable immediate corrective action.
• Troubleshooting of laboratory instruments malfunctions and carries out minor repairs so as to minimize equipment and production downtime.
• Perform calibration check for instrument as assigned.
• Ensure in place and in use of procedures, test methods / specifications documents.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or in related discipline with at least 1 to 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience.
• Competent in advance laboratory instrumentation, such as HPLC, GC, ICP, FTIR, NIR, etc.
• Preferred 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experience in chemistry laboratory testing environment or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience in troubleshooting / calibration /maintenance of laboratory instrument is an advantage
• Required to work under rotating 12 hours shift.
• Able to commit until 30 Apr 2026
