Broadridge is growing, and we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our production operations team! We are looking for a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator in our Kansas City Facility. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the team to ensure all responsibilities for the day are executed and work volume is prioritized according to SLA requirements.
This role is in our Customer Communications Division, which offers a full range of multi-channel communications solutions, such as integrated print, mail and digital solutions for transactional, marketing and compliance communications.
Responsibilities:
Verifies that all production systems and software are up to date and working properly each day and that all necessary documentation is presented to USPS and Presort Vendors in accordance with documented procedures and contractual agreements.
Ensures that the mail is being prepared and loaded properly.
Manages team schedules to ensure we have proper staffing while minimizing overtime expense
Prioritizes flow of mail on the floor and ensures teams is effectively carrying out tasks to meet SLAs and achieve quality standards Communicates and trains team on new procedures and makes sure they are implemented effectively
Provides ideas to Supervisor on how to streamline tasks and how to make workplace improvements Coordinate with Production to ensure Logistics is aware of and prepared for unanticipated changes in mail volumes bound for Logistics during shifts.
Coordinate preloads and staging of mail to ensure efficient mail flow
Reviews trailer and equipment reports to make sure that they are updated accurately and sent out each day Qualifications
Associate's degree or High School equivalent
3-5 years' experience within a high volume production environment
1 year supervisory experience in a Production environment
Flexibility in work schedule that is based on Production volumes which could require weekends and holidays
