Direct Search Global is working with a marine & offshore service supplier to fill a role of Shipping Assistant in their Singapore office.

:

• Mainly assist Shipping Executives and work with them in a team
• Prepare quotation for Sales Enquiry on freight cost and lead time (Singapore & Malaysia)
• Get ready Commercial Invoice and Packing list
• Liaise directly with Client for freight instruction and submission
• Liaise directly with Vendor for confirm freight
• Engage with Vendor for Shipment requirement (Fumigation, Seal, DG Cargo, etc)
• Prepare and submit Certificate of Origin with The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce
• Update and submit Import list for Major Exporter Scheme
• Track and monitor incoming freight of purchased goods or Sales indent and Stock items via Spreadsheet.
• Manage clearance for Import and Export documentation.
• Manage Marine Insurance submission
• Handle ASN port application
• Issue Purchase Requisition PR (Services and Consumable)
• Perform process of POD

• Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in logistics / supply chain management or relevant field.
• Minimum of 1 year of working experience in handling shipping documents.
• Experience with shipping, manufacturing and distribution companies is a plus.
• Experience with SAP program is a plus
• Meticulous and able to work in a team and independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• 5-day work week with transport provided at designated MRT station.
• A work permit will be granted to the successful candidate.
