Shipping Executive
As Shipping Executive, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders on various shipping activities to ensure shipment arrives and clear from port in a timely manner. You will be required to maintain optimal levels of raw materials to clear on arrival to support production and to dispatch to fulfill customer orders. In addition, you are expected to ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are in accordance with the regulatory requirements.
The Position

• Prepares pre- and post-shipment documentation in accordance with shipping legal requirements on import and export and as well as company's internal procedures to keep track of shipment.
• Tackling ad-hoc situation timely.
• Determine shipment schedule and logistics by verifying the content in documents.
• Ensure outgoing shipments are properly loaded and adhere to standard regulatory requirement including handling of hazardous material declaration.
• Ensure incoming shipments adhere to standard regulatory requirement and clear from port in a timely manner and updated in system.
• Documenting, processing and sending return shipments of damaged, defective or unsold and preparing claims of notification.
• Preparing and printing shipping labels with regards to shipping needs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and freight forwarders on schedules and communicate with company transportation agents on timely delivery and complete customer requirement.
• Response to matters/issues quickly.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork including invoices, bill of lading, airway bill, consignment note, delivery order, permits and Hazardous Material documents are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure all area of responsibility are audit readiness and procedures and processes are followed strictly in compliance with the regulatory requirements.
• Actively participate in Continuous Improvement and accept ad-hoc task delegated from time to time.

• Minimum GCE O/N Level with at least 2 years of relevant experience on import and export operation.
• Knowledge of Import, Export, Forwarding, Dangerous Good Declaration Knowledge of Permit and Government regulations and requirements is necessary.
• Proficiency in English Language and MS Office.
• Experience in SAP is an added advantage
