Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Minimum Bachelors\' Degree in Commerce or Business Management

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 8 years of working experience in similar capacity and with good in-depth knowledge of logistics and shipping documentation preferably in a manufacturing environment

\xc2\xb7 Able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

\xc2\xb7 Good communication and negotiation skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

\xc2\xb7 Good team player with integrity, interpersonal, organization and time management skills

\xc2\xb7 Independent worker and able to work with cross functional teams

\xc2\xb7 Self-motivated and able to motivate subordinates of the department.

\xc2\xb7 Proficient in MS Office applications & SAP system

\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge in project scheduling, shipping incoterms and its applications for international trade in a manufacturing industry and processes.

Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Manage and overall in charge of the whole shipping and forwarding operations including outbound logistics operations

\xc2\xb7 Handling requests and inquiries by agents/distributors & customers from throughout Asia

\xc2\xb7 Negotiate contracts with forwarders and carriers that provide best rates and services to maximize profits

• To oversee and manage the shipping and outbound logistics teams\xc2\xb7 Train, coach and set performance objectives for the staff to performeffectively

\xc2\xb7 Resolve problems concerning shipment and logistics or customer issues

\xc2\xb7 To liaise with government bodies regarding relevant shipping documents and required certifications

\xc2\xb7 Monitor, track and co-ordinate deliveries/shipments and documents to ensure that goods come in on time and rectify mistakes and discrepancies

\xc2\xb7 Collaborating with internal departments to optimize the flow of orders from preparation to shipment

\xc2\xb7 Create and implement shipping policies and procedures

\xc2\xb7 Analyze and improve the shipping processes for better productivity within the organization
