We are a leading commodity company seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shipping Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our commodity shipping operations and documentation. The Shipping Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all shipping operations and documentation for the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire shipping team and ensure all shipments operation and documentation are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage all shipping activities (physical export/import shipments operation and documentation, string, paper sales, including contract management, demurrage, insurance, vessel operation and related matters)
• Work closely with all departments, such as trading, risk, treasury, factory operation to ensure smooth coordination
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize shipping processes and reduce costs
• Monitor and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Provide leadership, guidance and training to the shipping team
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipping activities
• Manage and resolve any shipping-related issues or complaints

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in commodity shipping operations and documentation
• Strong understanding of vessel chartering, cargo loading and unloading, and shipping documentation
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
