Adecco is partnering with a large Japanese freight forwarding company to look for Shipping Officers to support their warehouse operations.
Job Details:
- Location: Jurong West
- Working hours: Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Salary: Basic $2600 + Transport Allowance + VB
- Organize and manage import/export shipments as per customer specifications, along with required documentation.
- Coordinate and book all shipping tasks, ensuring smooth logistics operations.
- Schedule prompt pickups and dispatches based on customer preferences.
- Manage freight system transactions efficiently.
- Monitor goods in transit, addressing issues and notifying customers with pre-alerts.
- Verify and maintain proper paperwork alignment with Company policies.
- Address customer inquiries efficiently.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant shipping experience
- Competent in writing emails
