The highly collegiate team in Singapore advises clients across the full spectrum of legal banking and finance matters, representing parties ranging from senior lenders, mezzanine lenders and private credit funds on the creditor side and multinational corporates, investment grade and non-investment grade borrowers and issuers and funds across various jurisdictions in South East Asia and the Asia Pacific.It is now actively looking to hire a mid level UK/common law qualified banking lawyer to advise on mainly English law governed cross border banking and finance matters, including acquisition finance, asset based lending, fund finance, real estate finance, receivables finance, structured trade and commodities finance, securities borrowing/lending, and TMT financing.For those lawyers who are keen to take their career to the next level with high-quality work and direct client contact, working on the biggest and most complex transactions across the Asia-Pacific, this is a rare opportunity to do so. • Qualified as a lawyer in England & Wales, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand; their equivalent in a common law jurisdiction;
• 3-5 years\' prior experience in banking and finance, and/or structured finance from another major law firm;
• Strong academic background;
• Prior regional Singapore/Asian market experience a \'plus\' but not a pre-requisite;
• First class legal and drafting skills;
• Team playing approach.
