Duration: 1 Year Contract
Workdays: Monday to Friday
Salary: 2,800 - $3,500 per month (Depending on qualification and experience)
Location: Central
You will be involved mainly in the planning of the Singapore Night Festival (SNF), which takes place in August each year. Beyond this, you will assist in the management of the Singapore Heritage Festival (SHF), and placemaking initiatives within the Bras Basah.Bugis (BBB) precinct.
Project Management
\xc2\xb7 Assist in the overall planning and project management of SNF
\xc2\xb7 Assist in the operational coordination and execution of these programmes, including sourcing for vendors, liaising with external agencies, events and visitor management etc.
\xc2\xb7 Assist in the preparation and assessment of vendor quotations and tenders
\xc2\xb7 Assist in the management and maintenance of the festival\xe2\x80\x99s website and collation of programme listings
\xc2\xb7 Assist in the management of school engagement and volunteer initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will need:
\xc2\xb7 Diploma / Degree in Arts Management / Events Management / Communications / Tourism or anything relevant
\xc2\xb7 At least 2 - 4 years of experience working in the arts / heritage / culture, events management or a relevant sector
\xc2\xb7 Experience in government administration, procurement and finance procedures
\xc2\xb7 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as you will be reaching out to a wide range of audience.
\xc2\xb7 Good command of English (both spoken and written) and is able to communicate in either of the official languages (Malay, Mandarin, Tamil).
\xc2\xb7 Able to work independently and as a team.
\xc2\xb7 Optional: Has had prior experience managing a digital / hybrid programme.
