Job Description

$4500 + AWS + VB + allowance5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hoursLocation: NorthResponsibilities

• Contributing technical expertise to project drawings/designs/operating parameter and overseeing construction engineering processes
• Plan detailed instructions (with updated engineering drawings) on daily project activities and monitor progress to ensure activities are executed as per project specifications.
• Assist in project cost control in line with the project budget (e.g. ensuring value-based procurement practices, optimum machine utilisation and usage of spares and scrap process compliance)
• Understand the geotechnical aspects of the project e.g. Soil Condition, CPT etc, so as to identify risk to project and to take steps to mitigate.
• Ensure all project documentation (progress reports, progress claims, daily reports, site diary, QA/QC report etc.) are submitted and follow up to ensure collection of approved documents in a timely manner.
• Performing cost calculations and preparing financial projections, to submit accurate Project Finance Reports and work-related reports in a timely fashion.
• Responsible to implement global QA/QC program and initiatives to ensure the QA/QC compliance in execution of projects. .
• Responsible to implement global HSEQ programs and initiatives to ensure HSEQ compliance in execution of projects. Performing regular tests on materials and procedures to ensure compliance with project/athorities regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power-point), Ms Project, AutoCAD is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
