Job Description

Looking for executive position in the field of construction industries. Ability to do projects related to fabrication, erection and inspection of heavy steel structures. Site Engineer Responsibilities:

• Prepare the Project planning and scheduling.
• Prepare a detailed schedule according to priorities derived from the master programmer.
• Prepare the material lists required by the project according to areas and priorities of the schedule.
• Study & review the drawings issued for construction to check any discrepancies and to ensure the most recent revision of drawings are received.
• Estimating the scope of work based on the IFC Drawings
• Raise up ECR should there are discrepancies in the drawings.
• Preparing Method of Statements, Inspection Test Plan (ITP), repair procedure and documents prior to execution of work
• Risk assessment coordinate with safety team.
• Delegate the tasks such as preparing the testing of the materials, requisition of the materials, fabrication of the structures and other activities of the project.
• Coordinate closely with Logistics & Store, QAQC Department, Project team and other specialist contractors such as Painting / Fire Proof, Machining & Rolling companies etc. during the course of the fabrication of the structures.
• Participate in meeting with Client, site meeting share the issues about the project team.
• Close supervision of the erection to achieve the timely delivery of the project and ensure to adhere to required codes and specification of the project to avoid any delay and material wastage.
• Prepare the weekly and monthly report of the project and submit to management.
• Coordinate the works with the Project team regarding the delivery schedule of the structures in order to maintain a smooth handling over of the structures which are fabricated and ready for erection. Conducts regular meetings with the team.
• Prepares and submits any outstanding documents or submission of the projects such as NCRs, Reports, etc.
• Implement safe work procedure all phases of work.
• Attend weekly and monthly progress meeting with Client.
• Manage the sub-contractors work
• Prepare the total scaffold volume and submit to Project Manager and QS team.
