Job Description

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

• Report to Project Manager
• Managing parts of construction projects
• Ensuring site setting out is correct
• Prepare method of statement (MOS) prior to work construction
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Collaborate with CM and Supervisors to ensure the site works carried out accordingly
• Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on-site
• Arrange site inspections and preparing RFI, Request for Information and Field Change Request (FCR) with QP (Supervision)
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
• Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering
• Coordinating with Purchaser for the delivery of materials
• Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
• Jointly verify and approved subcontractors\' claims with Subcontractor and Quantity Surveyor
• Prepare monthly progress claim with Quantity Surveyor for the monthly submission of Progress Claim to Client
• Attend daily, weekly or monthly meetings with the project team or client
