Site Engineer
Job Description
POSITION PURPOSESite engineers work chiefly on construction projects. They form part of construction management and use their skills and expertise to guide crew members and ensure the successful completion of a project.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES1. Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.2. Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.3. Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts.4. Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.5. Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.6. Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team7. Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors - this is site-specific and may not be the case on all projects8. Monitoring of everyday Accomplishment for Earthworks and Civil StructuresQUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- 1-2 yrs experience in field construction.
- Experience in Road construction is a plus.
- Sound knowledge of Engineering, construction, and design.
- Leadership skills and Problem Solving skills
- Must be willing to assign on Socorro Siargao.
- 8 hour shift
- 13th month salary
- Overtime pay
