Operations of the Baggage Handling System (BHS):

Onsite monitoring of the system during operations to ensure all conveyor equipment is running correctly.
Attend to any bag jams; clear the bag jams and re-start the conveyor system promptly without delay.
Report any system problems to BHS control room promptly.
Must be familiar with working safely on LIVE single phase and 3-phase 230V/ 415VAC electrical equipment.
Any other mechanical and electrical work as instructed under the direction of CAG, representative or his appointed representative,
who can be CAG\xe2\x80\x99s duty BHS Operations & Maintenance
Contractor.

Maintenance of the Baggage Handling System (BHS):

Remove old or damaged conveyor belts and install new conveyor belts. Some conveyors can be as long as 25 meters in length.
Remove old or damaged conveyor pulleys and install new ones.These pulleys can be quite heavy and need steady hands to handle such replacement work.
Remove old or damaged drive motors and install new ones. These motors can be in the range of 1KW to 5KW type.
Any other mechanical and electrical work as instructed under the direction of CAG, representative or his appointed representative,
who can be CAG\xe2\x80\x99s duty BHS Operations & Maintenance Contractor
