What the role is:
The jobholder is responsible for managing comprehensive financial operations while collaborating with stakeholders on system development and enhancements. They will identify process improvement opportunities, conduct data analysis to provide management insights, and ensure all financial processes comply with established policies and guidelines. The role requires driving operational efficiency across the organisation while maintaining accuracy and timeliness in all financial activities.
What you will be working on:

• Drive financial transformation and reengineer existing processes to include agentic AI o Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable, account receivables and general ledger entries o Perform fixed assets accounting and ensure accuracy and completeness of fixed asset records o Review requirement specifications and work with divisions and external agencies on the development and enhancement of collection systems by benchmarking against industry best practices o Manage bank accounts and authorising warrants o Perform data analysis to detect irregularities and derive insights to provide recommendations to management o Ensure procedures are compliant to financial policies and guidelines

What we are looking for:

• Working experience in finance/budget-related areas o Experience in Government agencies/public organisations, with knowledge in public sector financing and governance is preferred o Candidates with no prior working experience are welcome to apply o Highly-motivated with positive working attitude and work with great sense of urgency o Able to work independently and as a good team player o Possess critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills o Good interpersonal skills and able to engage and communicate with key stakeholders at all levels o Able to keep up-to-date with changes and developments in the field PWDs are welcome to apply
