Job Description
:You will be based in Manila, Philippines to shoot and video edit a variety of deliverables as required by the bureau correspondent and headquarters in Singapore. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Advising on and carrying out optimal technical setup for filming and production, including, but not limited to, shooting with different types of cameras, location lighting and location sound recording.
- Operating LiveU, BGAN or similar bonded cellular/satellite devices.
- Managing and maintaining technical equipment including cameras, video editing facilities, LiveU/BGAN/similar bonded cellular/satellite devices.
- You will work closely with the bureau correspondent and other bureau staff, as well as desk editors, producers and assistant producers at the headquarters in Singapore.
- You will be required to travel to other parts of Philippines and outside the country as needed.
- You will be required to work in different environments and situations, e.g. disaster zones, high-risk areas, protests etc.
- Diploma in Digital Audio, Video Production, Electronic, Film Sound and Video or Mass Communication.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Possess basic knowledge of non-linear editing and file transfer protocol.
- Good team player and prepared to work on irregular shifts including weekends and Public Holidays.
