Requirements

• Possess at least a Diploma. Must be a Registered WSH Officer with MOM and Fire Safety Manager (FSM) with SCDF.
• Min 5 years of primary experience handling safety responsibilities within HSE department with at least 3 years of working experience in the Manufacturing or Chemical plants having knowledge in chemical process and unit operations.
• Preferably Experienced in Jurong Island with strong awareness on Safety Case implementation as well as Mitigative Measures for Safety Critical Events (SCE) in Major Hazard Industries (MHI)
• Self-driven and possess qualities of collaborative working style.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Well versed with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ISO14001/ SS651(ISO45001) management systems.
• Knowledgeable in understanding and interpreting P&ID drawings.

• Interpret applicable Legal, Singapore Standards, Code of Practice & other requirements and implement & provide directions for compliance.
• Develop, maintain and periodically test out emergency response, Organize & conduct CERT audit and other emergency response relevant drills.
• Liaise with local authorities for all EHS issues, License renewal and represent the RC/SICA and other relevant meetings.
• Manage all EHS incident and non-conformance investigations and track corrective and preventive actions to closure.
• Organize risk assessments, site inspections and industrial hygiene and environmental samplings as well as implement or direct risk reduction and control measures.
• Conduct and organize EHS audits, trainings, meetings and promotional programs to increase employee awareness and knowledge.
• Establishing EHS objectives & Targets and its management Programme for continual improvement.
• Contractor management on In-house & SDM (Shutdown Maintenance) activities.
• Establish good communication with all level and function within the organization.
• Assist in the adhoc assignment or project assign by management.
• Spearhead continual improvement projects for HSE.
• Work with HSE department in organizing Annual Safety Campaign.
• Liaise with local authorities for all EHS issues, License renewal and represent the RC/SICA/SORT and other relevant meetings.

• Jurong Island, MNC, Japanese Petrochemical company
• Basic ranging from $5,400 - $5,900 + Allowance + 13 Month AWS + 2 to 4 Months Variable Bonus
• 5 days\' work week, Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)
• Company transport provided at Outram and Jurong East
