Cloud Cybersecurity Consultant

You will lead the team in the delivery of security system and solution right from the design phase to build, test and go-live. You are expected to have a thorough understanding of complex IT systems and stay up to date with the latest security technology, standards, trends, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-sales, evaluate technical requirements and specifications to recommend suitable security solutions.
• Provide consultancy and advisory services to pre-sales, project team on cybersecurity best practices and design.
• Engage and build close partnership with product principals for better synergy in both solutioning and delivery phases.
• Review current security controls and recommend enhancements.
• Support the delivery team to ensure projects are delivered on time and compliant to security requirements.
• Develop security documentations such as technical presentation slide, Design document, System Security Acceptance Test documents.
• Perform threat modelling, cyber risk assessment and recommend mitigation controls.
• Participate in regular security audits and ensure effectiveness of policies.
• Keep abreast of latest cybersecurity trends and introduce solutions to customers that address the everchanging threat landscape.
• Mentor and provide guidance to security team members to ensure success of security project/program.

• Diploma/Bachelor degree in Computer Information Security or related field
• At least one security certification is preferred, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Cloud Security Certifications with at least one cloud provider.
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in at least two of the security domains.

• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in either AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with other cloud platforms will also be considered.
• Experience with various virtualization technologies and multi-tenant, private and hybrid cloud environments.
• Some understanding of cloud or system security will be preferred.
• Some understanding of software development and infrastructure operations solutions will be preferred.
• Strong analytical and design thinking skills
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO27001 and ISO27017
• Able to work under pressure and to lead a team to deliver.
• Fluent communicator in both written and spoken English. Other language skills will be advantageous
